Mary Jane Roche, 83 of Nashua, NH died Saturday October 13, 2012 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH, surrounded by her family. Born April 22, 1929 in Nashua, NH she was the daughter of the late Sumner King and Mary (Davis) Bryant. A brother, William Bryant also predeceased her. She was the wife of David Francis Roche, of Nashua with whom she married on June 16, 1952. Mary was a lifelong resident of Nashua and graduate of Nashua High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Health Aide for the Nashua Public School System, working at Main Dunstable Elementary School for seventeen years Mary was a communicant of St. Christopher Church and a member of the Good Cheer Society. Her hobbies included cooking, knitting, gardening and writing poetry for family members. Besides her husband of sixty years, survivors include two sons and two daughter-in-laws, Michael Roche and his wife Cynthia, of Old Lyme, CT, Thomas Roche and his wife Donna, of Antrim, NH: Two daughters and son-in-laws, Elizabeth Etlinger and her husband Stephen, of Merrimack, NH, Susan Spencer and her husband Douglas, of Merrimack, NH: one brother, Davis “Skip” Bryant, of Nashua: two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Proulx, of Vinita, OK and Marjorie Bryant, of Nashua: grandchildren, Jesse and Casey Roche, Jennifer and Christopher Buck, Rebecca and Jonathan Adams, Abbey and Nathan Harris, Rachel and Emily Spencer, Ashley and Joshua Sipe and Brittany Roche and three great-grandchildren, Trenton Roche, Judd Adams and Brooklynn Sipe as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
