Deceased Name: CAROLINE E. SWITZER, 46, CITY NATIVE, DIES
Caroline E. Switzer, 46, Murrells Inlet, S.C., a native of Watertown, died Sunday at Georgetown Hospital, Georgetown, S.C. She had been ill with cancer.
Mrs. Switzer was a daughter of Francis and Elizabeth Brassard, Redwood.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, Murrells Inlet. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Adams Center.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Murrells Inlet-Garden City Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 672, Murrells Inlet, S.C. 29576.
Surviving besides her parents are her husband, David; three sons, Dennis, Rock Hill, S.C., Michael, Charleston, S.C., and Edward, Columbia, S.C.; a daughter, Marjorie Ann McIntyre, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two brothers, Francis Brassard Jr., Virginia Beach, Va., and James Brassard, Theresa, and two sisters, Ellen Wingo, Chula Vista, Calif., and Edna Cole, San Bernardino, Calif.
Born in Watertown on July 5, 1942, a daughter of Francis and Elizabeth Hunt Brassard, she had lived at Murrells Inlet for the past 11 years.
She was a member of Belin United Methodist Church, Murrells Inlet.
